Surf for Life is a project that aims to reach the youth of the Northern Beaches with a message that there is a hope for their future. This message centres on encouraging them to value themselves as people, set and attain goals in their lives, and have the courage to say no to those influences which take life away like drugs and suicide. This is to be done by contact at monthly surfing contests, in-school programs, and weekend surfing camps. The surfing contests are run over a weekend once a month and include a BBQ and presentation of prizes, and a guest speaker.
